We've been told that summer is effectively over and this weekend we will be officially celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival and tucking into mooncakes. For those of you that may be at a loss as to what to do or where to go to 'wish upon the full moon', there are two events happening:
The North London Chinese Association (NLCA) have a canal cruise this Sunday 14th September from 7pm to 10pm.
The Hong Kong Executive Club have their 7th Hong Kong Golf Day at Hatfield Golf Club on Sunday 21st September in aid of NLCA and BC Project. There will be a fantastic first prize of £500 cash for the overall winner plus many more prizes.
More details on both these events below. A portion of the proceeds from the above events will be donated to The BC Project.
Mid Autumn Festival - Charity Canal CruiseBeauchamp - the Electric Barge
Date: Sunday 14th September
Time: 7pm - 10pm - Embarking starts at 6.30pm
Price: £25 per person
Embark at Bishop's Bridge. Beauchamp is moored about 2 minutes away from Sheldon Square, Paddington. The best way to get there is by tube, via the district, circle or bakerloo lines at Paddington Station. Sheldon Square can be reached by walking through Paddington mainline station's platform 8, half way along the platform, go up the steps and bear right through the walkway, follow signs to Sheldon Square. (this is the same way as going to Pearl Liang restaurant). You will pass Starbuck's and then come to the Monsoon Building, Beauchamp is moored under Bishop's Bridge.
7th Hong Kong Golf Charity Day

Location: Hatfield Golf Club
Cost: £75 per person includes Green Fees, Breakfast and Japanese dinner
First tee off time: 11:04am

The BC Project had a great day at the TVB Gala yesterday with the olympic mascots Huanhuan and Nini drawing in an enthusiast crowd of fans!
Many of them pondered the size of Huanhuan's waistline in order to enter our competition to win a Nintendo Wii. The correct answer was 236cm. Here are the winners!
